About the role
Β
In this role, you will report on commercial recovery activity, analyse trends and provide insightful data analysis and insights to support the recovery of outstanding payments.
You will ensure specific recovery processes are performing optimally, identify potential issues through data analysis, and help support the business by implementing effective solutions.
You will also be providing assistance on a project for a new billing system for the company and helping the wider Data Team as needed.

What youβll be doing:
β’ Develop and maintain comprehensive commercial debt recovery reporting.
β’ Provide data analysis and insight to support the recovery of outstanding customer payments and the financial sustainability of PWS.
β’ Support management in monitoring collections performance throughout the month.
β’ Proactively monitor collection strategies through reporting and account-level analysis.
β’ Support the production of daily, weekly, and monthly management reporting.
β’ Identify trends in productivity and operational performance to drive improvement.
β’ Support the development and maintenance of collections performance scorecards.
β’ Use data analysis to proactively identify opportunities to improve process efficiency and effectiveness.
β’ Deliver regular performance overview updates to key stakeholders.
β’ Provide overall support to the Data Team on data-related queries.
What we are looking for:
β’ We are looking for a proactive and analytical individual who can combine strong technical capability with effective collaboration. You will be able to demonstrate:
β’ Capability in managing billing and financial-related data accurately and confidently
β’ Proven experience in data analysis, including the use of SQL and Power BI
β’ Strong analytical skills, with the ability to identify anomalies, trends, and risks within data
β’ Experience of leading actions within teams and supporting delivery of agreed outcomes
β’ Excellent attention to detail, with a demonstrated ability to identify and correct errors
β’ Evidence of strong oral and written communication skills, with the ability to present insights clearly to stakeholders
β’ A proven ability to identify improvement opportunities and support the delivery of effective solutions
β’ Confidence to constructively challenge existing thinking and processes, generating and embracing innovative ideas
β’ A flexible approach to work, with the willingness and ability to take on new challenges as required
